Terms of Use

Sypher DnD is a campaign and character management tool for tabletop role-playing groups. It stores campaign material (characters, NPCs, quests, notes, maps, handouts) and helps DMs run sessions. It is not a publisher of rules content and does not grant rights to any third-party intellectual property you bring into the app.

• You are responsible for the campaign data and AI prompts you submit.
• Keep your DM password and player join codes private.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not use the service to harass other users, generate illegal content, or attempt to disrupt the service.

The Sypher DnD source code is distributed under the MIT License (see the LICENSE file in the repository). The MIT License grants broad rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the code with attribution and disclaims warranty. The license covers the code only — not third-party game rules, art, or audio you import into a campaign.

The service is offered as-is. We make a reasonable effort to keep campaigns saved and synchronized, but there is no uptime guarantee, no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and no liability for lost campaign data, missed sessions, or consequential damages. Export important campaigns before relying on them.

Sypher DnD may use hosting, database, storage, and AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Their respective terms apply to data processed through them. You are responsible for ensuring your use of those AI features complies with the provider's terms.

Terms may change as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

This page is a practical product disclosure, not legal advice. Sypher DnD is currently offered as a free beta. Before any commercial launch, review these terms with counsel and update them for the actual business owner, jurisdictions where the app is offered, and any analytics or payment systems in use.
