Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Sypher DnD may collect, how campaign and player data is used, and the limits of the service. It is written for transparency and should be reviewed before any commercial launch.
Effective date: 2026-06-22
Information We Process
Sypher DnD stores the information needed to run a tabletop campaign, including DM account details, campaign names and descriptions, characters, NPCs, quests, notes, maps, encounters, rolls, handouts, player display names, and campaign join codes.
If AI features are used, the prompts and campaign context you submit may be sent to configured AI providers so they can generate NPCs, monsters, dungeons, handouts, images, music, or narrative text.
How Information Is Used
- To authenticate DMs, players, and display views.
- To save and synchronize campaign, character, combat, map, and player-facing state.
- To generate requested AI content when those tools are used.
- To debug errors, protect the service, and improve performance and usability.
Service Providers
The app may rely on hosting, database/authentication, storage, and AI providers such as Netlify, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible services, image generation services, or other configured vendors. Those providers process data only as needed to deliver the features you use.
What Not To Enter
Sypher DnD is designed for fictional campaign management. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, medical information, financial secrets, legal secrets, or other sensitive personal information into campaign notes, AI prompts, maps, handouts, or chat fields.
Children And Players
The service is intended for tabletop groups and is not directed to children under 13. If your table includes minors, the DM or account owner is responsible for obtaining appropriate permission and limiting what personal information is entered into the app.
Your Choices
DMs can edit, export, hide, archive, restore, or delete many campaign records inside the app. Deleting a campaign or character removes it from the active workspace, though backups, sync queues, provider logs, or legal/security retention may persist for a limited period.
Data Requests And Account Deletion
You can delete most of your own data directly in the app: DMs can delete individual campaigns, characters, NPCs, maps, and other records from within the workspace, which removes them from the active service.
You can also delete your entire account yourself. Open Profile Settings from the account menu (or, on mobile, from the profile entry in the bottom navigation) and use the “Danger zone” to delete your account. This works the same in both DM and player modes. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it permanently erases your account and all data you own — campaigns, characters, combats, scenes, NPCs, maps, and logs.
If you would rather we process the request for you, or you want to ask what personal data is associated with your account, you can still email privacy@sypher.solutions from the address tied to your account as a fallback. As noted under “Your Choices,” backups, sync queues, provider logs, or legal/security retention may persist for a limited period after deletion.

Policy Review
This policy is a practical product disclosure, not legal advice. Sypher DnD is currently offered as a free beta. Before public commercial distribution, review it with counsel and update it for the actual business owner, contact address, vendors, analytics, payment systems, and jurisdictions where the app is offered.
